A lovely long winter coat with a balloon silhouette in a classic black color that goes with most outfits. The coat has a distinctive silhouette and a good weight, making it wonderful to wear. The coat also warms nicely around the legs. It has an oversized cut and is a truly warm 'floater'. The coat is perfect for a cold winter day when you take a long walk in the woods or along the beach. Add a checked scarf and a pair of chunky stylish winter boots to this long, warm coat and you'll have a really cozy and warm winter outfit. The coat has a hood and ribbed wind cuffs at the sleeves, which make the coat extra cozy and keep the cold out. The coat closes with an asymmetrical snap-button fastening, giving it a cool look. The coat also has an inner zipper so it can be closed securely. This winter coat naturally has large, roomy patch pockets and Thinsulate lining.

Material

The coat's outer material consists of 46% cotton and 54% polyamide (polyester). The high cotton content makes the winter coat breathable. The outer material is light and has a lovely, soft surface. At the same time, the outer fabric has a coating on the inside that makes the material windproof and water-repellent. The coat is insulated with Thinsulate CDS100. Thinsulate is an insulating material (mid-layer) developed by 3M. It consists of tiny microfibers that both retain your body heat and keep moisture and cold out. The microfibers also adjust to your body temperature and the outside temperature. Additionally, Thinsulate is thin and light and therefore often used in flight suits, ski wear, etc. The coat is lined on the inside with a lining made of 96% cotton and 4% elastane. We guarantee that this winter coat will keep you wonderfully warm. The coat can be gently machine washed, but this should be done only very rarely. Use a gentle wash program at max 30 degrees and a neutral, liquid detergent. Spin the coat an extra time — it will then dry faster. If you get a stain on the coat, it can advantageously be removed with a neutral dishwashing liquid.

Fit

The coat is one of our CLASSICS and is called the CARMEN coat. It has an OVERSIZED silhouette and a full length of 120 cm in size M. The winter coat's OVERSIZED fit means that 40–42 cm extra fabric has been allocated for added width/movement. You will therefore find that you can fit into multiple sizes in this model. If you want the coat to be less oversized, we recommend choosing one size smaller. But to achieve the true oversized look as shown in the picture, choose your normal McVERDI coat size.
