Our design process
AT McVERDI EVERY CENTIMETER IS WORTH GOLD
McVERDI is Danish design and slow fashion with two annual collections – a summer collection and a winter collection.
All designs are designed, sewn and customized right here in our design studio in Ålsgårde.
“Whenever I work with our fine materials, it represents a great value for McVERDI… In addition to being very expensive, it is absolutely fantastic to work with .
At McVERDI we have no overproduction. When we produce our unique dresses, like this fine Liberty dress, we use all the material – we produce to the last drop and in small runs. There are often only 36 dresses, divided into 7 sizes, so if you want to secure a unique Liberty dress, you have to be quick, as there are only a limited number."

37 YEARS OF MCVERDI, DANISH DESIGN
Did you know that it was Lotte Honoré who started McVERDI 37 years ago?
It is also Lotte who, together with her daughter Juliane, designs all McVERDI styles.
Every collection starts with their love for beautiful materials and exciting structures.
“Good qualities, years of adaptation and, not least, knowledge of the female body and what suits it – with a good dose of McVERDI feeling. It's about the priceless feeling of feeling comfortable, true to yourself – and well dressed. It's almost a lifestyle.”
– Lotte Honoré
Around 80% of our fabrics are produced by the same Italian manufacturer with whom we have a long-standing collaboration.
We prefer to work with pure natural materials as long as it makes sense.
We value professional pride in our producers.
Just as we design each piece of clothing with love,
Massimo from Italy has the same love for fibers, textures and colors.
We produce very small runs of each style – No overproduction! We use every centimeter of our fabrics.
Any leftovers are used for beautiful details or ultimately sold as popular fabric scraps.
McVERDI clothing has a long shelf life and we value high quality far more than quantity.
