A lovely long winter coat with a balloon silhouette in a classic golden autumn color. The coat has a distinctive silhouette and a cozy oversized fit that makes it wonderful to wear. The coat also keeps your legs pleasantly warm. It has an oversized cut and is a truly warm 'floaty' piece. The coat is perfect for a cold winter day when you take a long walk in the woods or along the beach. Add a checked scarf and a pair of chunky stylish winter boots to this long, warm coat and you have a really lovely and warm winter outfit. The coat has a hood and rib-knit wind cuffs on the sleeves, which make the coat extra cozy and keep the cold out. The coat closes with an asymmetric snap-button fastening that gives it a cool look. The coat also has an inner zipper so it can be closed securely. This winter coat of course has large, roomy patch pockets, as well as an inner pocket with a button closure
Material
The outer material chosen for the coat has a pleasant surface and consists of 70% cotton and 30% polyamide. The outer material is windproof and water-repellent. The coat is insulated with 3M Thinsulate CS70, which is a microfiber material that effectively warms the body using its own body heat without adding bulk or weight. Thinsulate is, for example, also used in ski wear and flight suits. Inside, the coat is lined with 100% cotton lining and 100% acetate satin in the sleeves. The coat has wind cuffs in a wool/acrylic mix. Only wash your coat when necessary – preferably no more than once per season. Any stains can advantageously be rubbed with a little clear dish soap before washing. Wash inside out, on the hand-wash program in the machine, and use a neutral detergent. Spin the coat one extra time before hanging it to dry on a hanger. If after some time you experience that the coat's water repellency has decreased, the coat can be treated with a textile waterproofing spray. The outer fabric is produced in Italy, while the coat is sewn in Bulgaria.

Fit
The coat is one of our CLASSICS and is called the CARMEN coat. It has an OVERSIZE silhouette and a full length of 120 cm in size M. The winter coat's OVERSIZE fit means that 40–42 cm of extra fabric has been included for additional width/movement. You will therefore find that you can fit multiple sizes in this model. If you want the coat to be less oversized, we recommend choosing one size smaller. But to achieve the true oversized look shown in the picture, choose your usual McVERDI coat size.
