Cobalt blue long raincoat with wool lining
A little more about the product ...
Since the company was founded in 1987, the raincoat has been one of our most important products - and for many years was known as the "rubber coats". Lotte Honoré started the company by selling these black rubber coats in Copenhagen. Because the rubber coats are a McVERDI classic, we continue to produce them. They are usually reissued in classic black, but occasionally we add new special editions in other colors. This year it is this fantastic cobalt blue! The coat is warm, smart and practical. And it may be one of the best-suited coats for the unpredictable Scandinavian weather. It is truly a good investment in a practical and beautiful coat that we are sure you will be very happy with. The raincoat lasts a long time and has a timeless classic design. This raincoat, McC, is the first coat Lotte designed, and it is largely unchanged from back in 1987 to today. It is a small piece of history for us at McVERDI, and it is lovely that year after year it still proves that it belongs in the collection. Long and lovely. The raincoat has a long season and lasts a long time, and it has a timeless and classic design. The coat is very water-repellent, but it is not seam-welded and it does not have 100% rainproof details – so it is a good answer as a transitional coat for the wet spring or autumn, but not an alternative to a 100% practical raincoat. In return, you get a lovely piece of outerwear that can also be used in almost any kind of weather.
The coat has a decorative zipper that goes all the way up to the collar and zip pockets. It has fine topstitching along the edges and on the back vent. The coat has an inner pocket.
Material
The raincoat's outer fabric consists of a blend of 65% cotton and 35% polyurethane, which gives the material a rubber-like surface. The surface ensures the coat is windproof and water-repellent, while the cotton makes it practical and breathable. The lining is made of wool and polyamide. Normally the coat cannot be washed or dry-cleaned, but that is actually not necessary. A damp cloth can be used to wipe it clean, and it can be hung to air in humid weather. If you feel the coat really needs washing, it can be gently machine washed on a delicate cycle, but this should only be done very rarely, at most once per season. The fabric is produced in Italy, while the coat is sewn in Bulgaria.
Fit
The coat has a LOOSE silhouette and a full length of 120 cm in size medium.

McVERDI since 1987
Almost 40 years ago, McVERDI was founded by Lotte Honoré, who is still the owner and runs the company today, as well as designing all of McVERDI’s collections. Together with a dedicated team, she creates the best framework for the McVERDI universe.
Europe production
All McVERDI clothing is sewn in the EU - at a family-owned factory in Bulgaria, which we have worked with for many years.
Over 90% of our materials are also produced in the EU - primarily in Italy.
Small quantities - delicious fabrics
Our materials are chosen with the utmost care - and many are even designed especially for us. We work primarily with natural materials.
Our collections are produced in small runs and often there are only 3-4 pieces per size.
