The dress has a simple and very fine cut. A highly versatile summer dress that flatters almost all body types. The dress has short sleeves and a yoke with gathers at the back. At the hem the dress has a wide double edge that gives a bit of extra weight. The V-neck with the wide trim is the dress's main detail and creates a very flattering neckline. The dress also features convenient side pockets.
The material
The dress is sewn in a light 100% linen quality. Linen is lovely to wear in summer because it helps regulate the skin's temperature. In addition, linen has a beautiful and interesting texture that makes the material appealing. Linen is also one of the more sustainable material choices, as the cultivation and processing of flax fibers have a minimal environmental footprint and do not require artificial fertilizers or pesticides. Linen tends to wrinkle and it is difficult to avoid. Linen can of course be ironed, but we actually recommend letting linen be linen and simply hanging the dress to dry on a hanger. Wash with a neutral, gentle detergent and on a cold hand-wash program.
Production
McVERDI is Danish design - designed in Ålsgårde, north of Helsingør. The first samples are designed, sewn and adjusted here before being sent to Bulgaria for production. We work with a small family-owned factory in Bulgaria, which we have collaborated with for many, many years. The fabric is produced in Turkey.
Fit
The linen dress has a FITTED LOOSE simple straight up-and-down silhouette. The dress has a full length of 110 cm in size medium.

Almost 40 years ago, McVERDI was founded by Lotte Honoré, who is still the owner and runs the company today, as well as designing all of McVERDI’s collections. Together with a dedicated team, she creates the best framework for the McVERDI universe.

All McVERDI clothing is sewn in the EU - at a family-owned factory in Bulgaria, which we have worked with for many years.
Over 90% of our materials are also produced in the EU - primarily in Italy.
Small quantities - delicious fabrics
Our materials are chosen with the utmost care - and many are even designed especially for us. We work primarily with natural materials.
Our collections are produced in small runs and often there are only 3-4 pieces per size.
