This spring jacket in yellow with an asymmetric zipper is a popular style in our range, not least because of its functionality and strong McVERDI DNA. It has a simple, timeless design but still features some distinctive details that make it special — notably the asymmetric zipper and the characteristic hood. The asymmetric zipper is a two-way zipper. At the back, the coat has a low casing with elastic that can be tightened if you want to add a bit more shaping to the back panel. Alternatively, you can leave the back without gathering to achieve a more A-line silhouette. The coat also has two zip pockets and an internal pocket with a button closure. The jacket is windproof and water-repellent, perfect for Danish weather.

The material

The jacket is sewn in the loveliest brushed cotton quality, ideal for outerwear. The shell fabric consists of 70% cotton and 30% polyamide. It is windproof and very water-repellent. To make the jacket more resistant to wear, the sleeve cuffs are 100% cotton. Inside you'll find a printed lining in 96% cotton and 4% elastane. The sleeves have acetate satin to make the jacket easier to put on. The jacket should not be washed too often, but in rare cases can be washed on the machine's hand-wash program. Washing can, over time, reduce the jacket's ability to keep water out. However, you can refresh the water repellency with a textile waterproofing spray.

Production

McVERDI is Danish design — designed in Ålsgårde, north of Helsingør. The first samples are designed, sewn and adjusted there before being sent to Bulgaria for production. We work with a small family-owned factory in Bulgaria, which we have collaborated with for many, many years. The shell fabric is developed, designed and produced north of Florence in Italy, where we partner with an Italian fabric manufacturer that designs and develops qualities especially for us. The lining is printed and produced in Turkey.
