Iceblue jacket with asymmetrical zipper
More about the jacket
This spring jacket with an asymmetrical zipper is a popular style in our collection, largely due to its functionality and strong McVERDI DNA. It features a simple and timeless design, yet possesses striking details that make it unique – especially the asymmetrical zipper and the characteristic hood. The zipper is a practical two-way zipper. At the back, the coat has a low drawstring with an elastic cord that can be tightened to add a bit of definition to the back. Alternatively, it can be left loose to achieve a more A-shaped silhouette. The coat also features two zippered pockets and an interior pocket with a button closure. The jacket is windproof and water-resistant, making it perfect for unpredictable weather.
Material
The jacket is crafted from a lovely brushed cotton quality, ideal for outerwear. The outer fabric consists of 70% cotton and 30% polyamide. It is windproof and highly water-resistant. To enhance durability, the sleeve cuffs are made of 100% cotton. Inside, you’ll find a printed lining made of 96% cotton and 4% elastane. The sleeves are lined with acetate satin to make it easier to put on. The jacket should not be washed too often, but in rare cases, it can be washed on a hand-wash cycle in the machine. Over time, washing may reduce the jacket's water-repellency. However, you can easily refresh the water resistance with a textile waterproofing spray.
Production
McVERDI is Danish design – designed in Ålsgårde, north of Elsinore. Here, the first samples are designed, sewn, and fitted before being sent to Bulgaria for production. We work with a small family-owned factory in Bulgaria, a partnership that has lasted for many, many years. The outer fabric is developed, designed, and produced north of Florence, Italy, by a manufacturer that creates qualities specifically for us. The lining is printed and produced in Turkey.
Fit
The jacket has a LOOSE silhouette and is an AGNETE CLASSIC. It has a total length of 85 cm in a size Medium.
