Turquoise oversized shirt in 100% linen
A bit more about the product ...
Cool oversized shirt that has been part of the McVERDI collection for many seasons. The shirt's wide silhouette gives it a bold look. It has sharp shirt details that create a nice contrast to the slightly bohemian, relaxed linen look. The cuffs and collar also make the shirt great to wear under a sweater or similar, where the collar and cuffs can peek out and create a sweet look.
The material
The shirt is sewn in a light 100% linen quality. Linen is lovely to wear in summer because it has a tempering effect on the skin. In addition, linen has a beautiful and interesting texture that makes the material appealing. Linen is also one of the more sustainable material choices, as the cultivation and processing of linen fibers have a minimal environmental footprint and do not require artificial fertilizers and pesticides. Linen tends to wrinkle and it is difficult to avoid. Linen can of course be ironed, but we actually recommend letting linen be linen and simply let the shirt dry on a hanger. Wash with a neutral, gentle detergent and on a cold hand-wash program.
Production
McVERDI is Danish design. We have a design studio north of Helsingør in Ålsgårde, side by side with our large shop and webshop. In Ålsgårde we design, sew and adjust the first samples before they are sent to Bulgaria to be produced. For years we have collaborated with a small family-owned factory in southern Bulgaria.
Fit
This shirt has an oversized silhouette and is one of our classics called the BETTINA SHIRT. In size medium it has a full length of 70 cm

McVERDI since 1987
Almost 40 years ago, McVERDI was founded by Lotte Honoré, who is still the owner and runs the company today, as well as designing all of McVERDI’s collections. Together with a dedicated team, she creates the best framework for the McVERDI universe.
Europe production
All McVERDI clothing is sewn in the EU - at a family-owned factory in Bulgaria, which we have worked with for many years.
Over 90% of our materials are also produced in the EU - primarily in Italy.
Small quantities - delicious fabrics
Our materials are chosen with the utmost care - and many are even designed especially for us. We work primarily with natural materials.
Our collections are produced in small runs and often there are only 3-4 pieces per size.
