A cool oversize shirt that has been a staple in the McVERDI collection for many seasons. The shirt's wide silhouette gives it a bold and stylish look. It features sharp shirt details that provide a great contrast to the slightly bohemian, relaxed linen aesthetic. The cuffs and collar also make the shirt ideal for layering under knitwear, allowing the details to peek through for a charming look.
Material
The shirt is crafted from a light 100% linen quality. Linen is wonderful to wear in the summer as it has a temperature-regulating effect on the skin. Furthermore, linen has a beautiful and intriguing texture that adds character to the material. Linen is also one of the more sustainable material choices, as the cultivation and processing of flax fibers have a minimal environmental footprint and require no synthetic fertilizers or pesticides. Linen tends to wrinkle, which is part of its charm. While it can be ironed, we actually recommend letting "linen be linen" and simply letting the shirt air dry on a hanger. Wash with a neutral, gentle detergent on a cold hand-wash cycle.
Production
McVERDI is Danish design. Our design studio is located north of Elsinore in Ålsgårde, right alongside our large boutique and webshop. In Ålsgårde, we design, sew, and fit the first samples before they are sent to Bulgaria for production. For years, we have collaborated with a small family-owned factory in southern Bulgaria.
Fit
This shirt features an oversize silhouette and is one of our classics named the BETTINA SHIRT. In a size Medium, it has a total length of 70 cm.

McVERDI since 1987
Almost 40 years ago, McVERDI was founded by Lotte Honoré, who is still the owner and runs the company today, as well as designing all of McVERDI’s collections. Together with a dedicated team, she creates the best framework for the McVERDI universe.
Europe production
All McVERDI clothing is sewn in the EU - at a family-owned factory in Bulgaria, which we have worked with for many years.
Over 90% of our materials are also produced in the EU - primarily in Italy.
Small quantities - delicious fabrics
Our materials are chosen with the utmost care - and many are even designed especially for us. We work primarily with natural materials.
Our collections are produced in small runs and often there are only 3-4 pieces per size.
