The material

The scarf is knitted in 100% yak ox wool. Yak-ox wool is a luxurious natural fiber that comes from the yak ox, which lives in the Himalayan region at over 3,000 meters altitude. The wool is extremely soft – often compared to cashmere – while also being warm, durable and breathable.

Yak wool is harvested by brushing the animals' undercoat during the shedding season, making it a sustainable and animal-friendly material.

Mansted is a Danish company founded in 2002. Mansted creates “carefully crafted” knitwear and focuses on producing flattering, comfortable cuts with beautiful color combinations that last season after season.
