The material

The scarf is knitted in 100% yak ox wool. Yak-ox wool is a luxurious natural fibre that comes from the yak ox, which lives in the Himalayan region at over 3,000 meters altitude. The wool is extremely soft – often compared to cashmere – yet warm, durable and breathable.

Yak wool is harvested by combing the animals’ undercoat during shedding season, making it a sustainable and animal-friendly material.

Brand

Mansted is a Danish company that was founded back in 2002. Mansted creates “carefully crafted” knitwear and focuses on flattering, comfortable cuts with beautiful colour combinations that last season after season. We are very pleased to have Mansted in our assortment and select styles each season that complement our McVERDI collection in colour and cut.
