The dress is basically completely crumpled, but when the dress gets wet the dress changes. So how much this silk/viscose dress should wrinkle is 100% up to you. So if you want the crinkled look, twist the dress while it is wet, and if you want the smooth look, hang the dress on a hanger and optionally iron it on low heat afterwards.

Material

The Privatsachen dress is sewn in 30% silk and 70% viscose. Take care of your dress so it lasts longer. Hand wash the dress and hang it to dry on a hanger. It is only necessary to wash a dress if it smells; you do not need to wash it after every use. If a stain appears, wash only the stain. The stain can possibly be removed with a neutral dishwashing detergent. To get the crinkled look, twist the dress after washing. That also means you can choose to twist the dress more or less, or not at all. The silk is wonderfully breathable and gives a good feeling whether you dance all night or hike in the mountains (this is a real customer story, who wore the dresses while hiking in the mountains – it sounds super lovely).
