The blouse is one of our CLASSICS and is named EDITH. It is characterized by its feminine and petite aesthetic. It features a narrow fit across the shoulders, a back yoke, and pleats in the back for a graceful drape. This linen blouse has small, delicate buttons and is highly versatile; wear it buttoned as a classic blouse or keep it open as a light linen jacket over a dress. The shawl collar is a particularly flattering detail that completes the charming look.

Material

Experience the feel of 100% linen – a fantastic natural material that feels light and temperature-regulating against the skin. Linen is not only beautiful with its unique texture; it is also a sustainable choice, as the flax plant requires minimal environmental impact and no chemical pesticides during growth. We love the natural "crinkle" of linen, so skip the ironing and let it air dry on a hanger instead. To preserve the quality, we recommend a cold hand-wash cycle and a gentle detergent.

Production

Every McVERDI design begins its journey in Ålsgårde, North Zealand. Here, we design and fine-tune the fit of every single sample before they are sewn by our loyal partner – a small family-owned sewing studio in Bulgaria, with whom we have collaborated closely for many years.

Fit

The EDITH blouse is one of our classic silhouettes. It has a fitted silhouette, meaning it is designed to fit snugly across the bust while falling relatively straight elsewhere. The blouse has a petite feel around the shoulders. In a size medium, the blouse has a total length of 65 cm.

McVERDI since 1987

Almost 40 years ago, McVERDI was founded by Lotte Honoré, who is still the owner and runs the company today, as well as designing all of McVERDI’s collections. Together with a dedicated team, she creates the best framework for the McVERDI universe.

All McVERDI clothing is sewn in the EU - at a family-owned factory in Bulgaria, which we have worked with for many years.

Over 90% of our materials are also produced in the EU - primarily in Italy.

Small quantities - delicious fabrics

Our materials are chosen with the utmost care - and many are even designed especially for us. We work primarily with natural materials.

Our collections are produced in small runs and often there are only 3-4 pieces per size.
