The shirt blouse features a feminine shawl collar, a button-through front, and long sleeves finished with a slightly ruffled cuff. The back is particularly elegant with its fine exterior pleats, adding a beautiful and feminine detail.

The Material

The shirt blouse is made from 68% linen and 32% cotton. A lightweight quality with a lovely structure and weave. The blouse can be machine washed on a gentle cycle and does not require heavy ironing. We recommend simply hanging the blouse on a hanger to dry.

Production

McVERDI is Danish design – designed in Ålsgårde, north of Elsinore. This is where the initial samples are designed, sewn, and fitted before being sent to Bulgaria for production. We work with a small, family-owned factory in Bulgaria with whom we have collaborated for many, many years. The fabric is produced in Italy, just north of Florence, and is developed specifically for McVERDI.

Fit

The shirt blouse is based on our lovely EDITH CLASSIC. It features an A-line silhouette with gathers at the back but has a relatively petite fit around the shoulders. The blouse has a total length of 65 cm in a size medium.

McVERDI since 1987

Almost 40 years ago, McVERDI was founded by Lotte Honoré, who is still the owner and runs the company today, as well as designing all of McVERDI’s collections. Together with a dedicated team, she creates the best framework for the McVERDI universe.

Europe production

All McVERDI clothing is sewn in the EU - at a family-owned factory in Bulgaria, which we have worked with for many years.

Over 90% of our materials are also produced in the EU - primarily in Italy.

Small quantities - delicious fabrics

Our materials are chosen with the utmost care - and many are even designed especially for us. We work primarily with natural materials.

Our collections are produced in small runs and often there are only 3-4 pieces per size.
