Our signature product
Our signature bestseller is carefully crafted, adored by customers, and surpasses all expectations.
This rain jacket has become a permanent part of our collection of raincoats and jackets. The coat's hood, which can also be worn as a sculptural collar, gives this rain jacket a striking appearance. An A-line silhouette, a multifunctional hood and a prominent zipper are the result of an anorak-like design. This jacket has a cozy and elegant oversized A silhouette with the option to cinch at the back and a large hood-collar. The jacket still retains that snug anorak feel but now has a central zipper with a practical and decorative storm flap at the front. The jacket features pockets, an inner pocket and adjustable cuffs on the sleeves. The jacket is highly water-repellent, but the seams are not welded and it does not have 100% rainproof details – so it is a great choice as a transitional jacket for a wet spring or autumn, but not a substitute for a 100% practical raincoat. In return, you get a lovely piece of outerwear that can be worn in almost any kind of weather.
Rain jackets are simply our absolute core product and we never grow tired of them. They are the most suitable coats for Scandinavian weather because they are both wind- and watertight, and lined with a wool lining that is warm and comfortable. The rain jacket has a long season and lasts a long time, and it has a timeless and classic design. The jacket quickly becomes an indispensable part of the wardrobe and the easiest choice in changeable autumn weather.
Can we get through an autumn or winter without having a McVERDI raincoat or jacket in our wardrobe? We don’t think so. It must be tried on, enjoyed and worn.
The raincoat is made from a combination of 65% cotton and 35% polyether, giving the fabric a rubber-like surface. The surface ensures the coat is wind- and waterproof, while the cotton makes it practical and breathable. The lining is made of wool and polyamide. Normally the coat cannot be washed or dry-cleaned, but that is generally not necessary. A damp cloth can be used to wipe it clean, and it can be hung to air in damp weather. If you feel the coat really needs washing, it can be gently machine washed on a delicate cycle, but this should only be done very rarely, at most once per season. The fabric is produced in Italy, while the coat is sewn in Bulgaria.
The coat has an OVERSIZED silhouette and a full length of 92 cm in size medium.
