A-line waterproof jacket with wool lining

€505,95

This rainjacket becomes a regular part of our collection of rainjackets and coats. The hood, which can also be used as a sculptural collar, gives this rainjacket a nice look. An A-silhouette, a multi-function hood, and a cool zipper are the result of an anorak-like design.

Product description

This black rain jacket is cut in the same shape as our fine anorak — maybe you remember it? The rain jacket has a cosy and elegant oversized A-silhouette with the option to cinch at the back and a large hood-collar. The jacket still has that cosy feel of an anorak, but now features a zipper down the centre with a practical and decorative storm flap at the front. The jacket has pockets, an inner pocket and cuffs on the sleeves that can be adjusted as needed. The jacket is highly water-repellent, but it is not seam-sealed and does not have 100% rainproof details — so it is a great transitional coat for a wet spring or autumn, but not an alternative to a 100% fully practical raincoat. In return, you get a lovely piece of outerwear that can be worn in almost any kind of weather.

Rain jackets are simply our absolute core product and we never get tired of them. They are the most suitable coats for Scandinavian weather because they are both wind- and waterproof, and lined with a wool lining that is warm and pleasant. The rain jacket has a long season and lasts a long time, and it has a timeless and classic design. The jacket quickly becomes an indispensable part of the wardrobe and the easiest choice in changeable autumn weather. This one is in a classic black colour that goes with everything!

This rain jacket is available in several different colours. Can we get through an autumn or winter without having a McVERDI raincoat or jacket in our wardrobe? We don't think so. It should be tried on, enjoyed and worn.

Material description

The jacket's outer fabric consists of 65% cotton and 35% polyurethane, which gives the material the rubberised surface. The rubberised surface makes the outer material windproof and highly water-repellent, while the cotton means you have a practical coat that can breathe. The jacket's lining consists of 80% wool and 20% polyamide.

The jacket is extremely easy to care for. It should simply be wiped with a damp cloth and hung up to air occasionally. The jacket CANNOT be dry cleaned and generally should not be washed. However, it is possible to wash the coat gently on a wool cycle in the machine when it really needs it, but this should only be done very rarely. The somewhat limited options for washing and dry cleaning have never been a problem in the nearly 30 years we have been producing the coats.

The outer material used for this coat is produced in Italy by the same manufacturer for 30 years. The wool lining is also produced in Italy, while the coat is sewn in Bulgaria. NOTE! The jacket is highly water-repellent, but it is not seam-sealed and does not have 100% rainproof details.

Country of production: Bulgaria.

Fit

The jacket has an OVERSIZE 1 silhouette and raglan sleeve. The jacket in size medium has a chest width of 155 cm, of which up to 50-60 cm is intended extra width to achieve the right look. We recommend choosing your normal size so the coat fits in sleeve length. However, you can typically also go down one size. The jacket has a full length of 92 cm and is 6 cm shorter at the front in a size medium.
