The raincoat is long-lasting and features a timeless classic design. This raincoat, McB, is one of the coats we've carried in the collection for over 30 years and it's still a hit!

It's amazing that it appeals to all ages and body types. Over the years there is no doubt this timeless classic has been our absolute best-selling coat. It should be tried on and maybe bought? Maybe it can become your new favorite in the wardrobe.

The coat has a simple front look, with the ends of the drawcord adjustable on the inside of the coat. The coat has a hood, zipper, zip pockets, an inner pocket and a drawcord across the back where the elastic can be adjusted depending on how much ease you want in the back. The neat thing about the coat is that the drawcord continues slightly onto the front, subtly defining the waist. The coat is highly water-repellent, but the seams are not welded and it does not have 100% rainproof details – so it is a great choice for a transitional coat for wet spring or autumn weather, but not an alternative to a 100% practical raincoat. In return you get a lovely piece of outerwear that can also be worn in good weather and looks great worn open.

Material description

The outer fabric of the raincoat consists of 65% cotton and 35% polyether, which gives the material a rubberized surface. The rubberized surface makes the outer material windproof and very water-repellent, while the cotton ensures a practical coat that breathes. The lining consists of 80% wool and 20% polyamide.

Outerwear should be easy to care for. This raincoat only needs to be wiped with a damp cloth and hung to air occasionally. As a rule the raincoat CANNOT be dry-cleaned and, as a rule, should not be machine washed. However, it is possible to gently wash the raincoat on a wool cycle in the machine when it really needs it, but this should only be done very rarely. The somewhat limited washing and dry-cleaning options have never been a problem in the nearly 30 years we have produced these coats.

The outer material used for this coat has been produced in Italy by the same manufacturer for 30 years. The wool lining is also produced in Italy, while the coat is sewn in Bulgaria. NOTE! The coat is highly water-repellent, but the seams are not welded and it does not have 100% rainproof details.
