The raincoats and jackets are one of our absolute core products. McVERDI raincoats and jackets are a McVERDI classic. They are the most suitable coats for Scandinavian weather because they are both wind- and water-resistant, and they are lined with a wool lining that is warm and pleasant. The jacket is very water-repellent, but it is not seam-welded and does not have 100% rainproof details – so it is a good option as a transitional coat for the wet spring or autumn, but not an alternative to a 100% practical rain jacket. In return, you get a lovely piece of outerwear that can also be worn in good weather and looks great worn open.

This silver rain jacket has a long season, lasts a long time and has a timeless, classic design. The jacket quickly becomes an indispensable part of the wardrobe and is an easy choice in the changeable autumn weather we have here in Denmark and throughout Scandinavia.

This rain jacket is a classic among our raincoats and jackets. The rain jacket has a good cut, a good hood, snap fasteners and a drawstring with elastic that can be adjusted between the lining and outer fabric, depending on how much extra width you want at the back. The rain jacket has an inner zipper and an inner pocket.

The silver rain jacket is of course also available in a beautiful classic black and other colors if a silver jacket is a bit too daring - BUT it really looks great in silver and does not seem so "intimidating" in reality. On the contrary, the combination of the matte silver and the dark grey wool lining is incredibly classic and attractive.

Material description

The rain jacket's outer fabric consists of 65% cotton and 35% polyurethane, which gives the material the rubber surface. The rubber surface makes the outer material windproof and very water-repellent, while the cotton allows you to have a practical jacket that breathes.

The rain jacket's lining consists of 80% wool and 20% polyamide.

The jacket is extremely easy to care for. It just needs to be wiped with a damp cloth and hung up to air occasionally. The jacket CANNOT be dry cleaned and as a rule should not be washed. However, it is possible to wash the coat gently on a wool wash program in the machine when it really needs it, but this should only be done very rarely. The somewhat limited options for washing and dry cleaning have never been a problem in the almost 30 years we have produced the coats.

The outer material used for this jacket has been produced in Italy by the same manufacturer for 30 years. The wool lining is also produced in Italy, while the jacket is sewn in Bulgaria. NOTE! The jacket is very water-repellent, but it is not seam-welded and does not have 100% rainproof details.

Fit

The jacket has a LOOSE fit. In size medium the jacket has a chest width of 128 cm, of which 26–30 cm is intended as extra width, and it has a full length of 82 cm.
