Although the rain jacket is highly water-repellent, it is not seam-welded and does not have fully rainproof details, so it works best as a transitional coat rather than a fully waterproof jacket.
On the other hand, it is an elegant outerwear piece that can be worn in dry weather and as a stylish choice even when worn open. This rain jacket is a staple favorite in McVERDI's collection of raincoats. It has a well-fitting cut, a practical hood, snap buttons and a drawcord with elastic so you can adjust the width at the back.
The jacket is also equipped with an inner zipper and a practical inner pocket. It is available in an elegant, classic black, but also in other colors.

Material description

The outer fabric of the rain jacket consists of 65% cotton and 35% polyether, which gives the material its rubberized surface. The rubberized surface makes the outer material windproof and highly water-repellent, while the cotton allows for a practical jacket that breathes.

The lining of the rain jacket consists of 80% wool and 20% polyamide.

The jacket is extremely easy to care for. It only needs to be wiped with a damp cloth and hung to air out occasionally. The jacket CANNOT be dry-cleaned and, as a rule, should not be washed. However, it is possible to wash the coat gently on a wool cycle in the machine when it really needs it, but this should only be done very rarely. The somewhat limited options for washing and dry-cleaning have, however, never been a problem in the nearly 30 years we have been producing these coats.

The outer material used for this jacket has been produced in Italy by the same manufacturer for 30 years. The wool lining is also produced in Italy, while the coat is sewn in Bulgaria. The rain jacket is very water-repellent, but it is not seam-welded and does not have 100% rainproof details.
