The raincoats and jackets are one of our absolute core products. McVERDI raincoats and jackets are a McVERDI classic. They are the most suitable coats for Scandinavian weather because they are both wind- and water-repellent, and they are lined with a wool lining that is warm and pleasant. The rain jacket is very water-repellent, but it is not seam-welded and does not have 100% rainproof details – so it is a good choice as a transitional coat for the wet spring or autumn, but not an alternative to a 100% practical rain jacket. In return, you get a lovely piece of outerwear that can also be worn in good weather and looks great worn open. A more fashion-inspired rain jacket.

This rain jacket has a long season, lasts a long time and has a timeless, classic design. The jacket quickly becomes an indispensable part of the wardrobe and is an easy choice in the changeable autumn weather we have here in Denmark and across Scandinavia.

This rain jacket is a classic among McVERDI raincoats. The rain jacket has a good cut, a practical hood, press-studs and a drawstring with elastic that can be adjusted between the lining and outer fabric depending on how much extra width you want across the back. The rubber jacket has an inner zipper and an inner pocket.

The rain jacket is available in this beautiful classic black color, but it is also available in several other colors including silver, petrol and burgundy.

Material description

The outer fabric of the rain jacket consists of 65% cotton and 35% polyurethane, which gives the material its rubber surface. The rubber surface makes the outer material windproof and highly water-repellent, while the cotton ensures a practical jacket that breathes.

The lining of the rain jacket consists of 80% wool and 20% polyamide.

The jacket is extremely easy to care for. It only needs to be wiped with a damp cloth and hung to air occasionally. The jacket CANNOT be dry cleaned and, as a rule, should not be washed. It is, however, possible to wash the coat gently on a wool cycle in the machine when it really needs it, but this should only be done very rarely. The somewhat limited options for washing and dry cleaning have never been a problem in the nearly 30 years we have produced the coats.

The outer material used for this jacket is produced in Italy by the same manufacturer for 30 years. The wool lining is also produced in Italy, while the coat is sewn in Bulgaria. The rain jacket is very water-repellent, but it is not seam-welded and does not have 100% rainproof details.

Fit

The jacket has a LOOSE fit. In size medium the jacket has a chest measurement of 128 cm, of which 26-30 cm is intended as extra width, and it has a full length of 82 cm.
