A little more about the product ...

The coat — or oversized shirt — is our popular LUNA silhouette, characterized by its loose A-shape. It’s a real "flowing" coat that works great worn open. There’s room for the whole world in the two large patch pockets. The oversized shirt features a sharp, distinctive shirt-inspired collar and closes at the front with beautiful press studs.

The material

The cotton quality for the oversized shirt has a lovely natural look. It is 100% cotton in the cotton’s natural color — it is neither bleached nor dyed. This gives a flattering and quite nice cream-white shade that looks great in the summer wardrobe. The quality is sturdy with a canvas feel, while also being soft and comfortable to wear. Machine wash on the hand-wash program — it only gets softer with time. No need to iron.

Production

McVERDI is Danish design — designed in Ålsgårde, north of Helsingør. The first samples are designed, sewn and adjusted here before being sent to Bulgaria for production. We work with a small family-owned factory in Bulgaria that we have collaborated with for many, many years. The fabric is developed, designed and produced north of Florence in Italy, where we partner with an Italian fabric manufacturer who designs and develops qualities especially for us.

Fit

The coat has a LUNA silhouette and an OVERSIZED A-cut. It comes in 4 sizes: size 1 corresponding to xs/s, size 2 corresponding to m/l, size 3 corresponding to xl/2xl, size 4 corresponding to 3xl. In size 2 it has a full length of 110 cm.

McVERDI since 1987

Almost 40 years ago, McVERDI was founded by Lotte Honoré, who is still the owner and runs the company today, as well as designing all of McVERDI’s collections. Together with a dedicated team, she creates the best framework for the McVERDI universe.

Europe production

All McVERDI clothing is sewn in the EU - at a family-owned factory in Bulgaria, which we have worked with for many years.

Over 90% of our materials are also produced in the EU - primarily in Italy.

Small quantities - delicious fabrics

Our materials are chosen with the utmost care - and many are even designed especially for us. We work primarily with natural materials.

Our collections are produced in small runs and often there are only 3-4 pieces per size.
