The Thyra dress is characterized by a relaxed and comfortable cut, while still being a very neat and nice dress. It is a perfect everyday dress. It has (of course) side pockets and its distinctive yoke with mother-of-pearl buttons down the front. The sleeves can be adjusted slightly as needed. At the back it is cut above the waist and has pleats in the skirt. It is often the combination of the one-piece front and the back with the yoke that appeals to those who wear it. It is a dress that often becomes a favorite in the wardrobe.
The material
The dress is sewn in a quality consisting of 58% linen and 42% cotton. The combination of linen and cotton is exceptional and gives a fabric with a beautiful texture, while creasing less than regular linen would. A lovely quality for great everyday styles. Wash on the hand-wash program in the machine and let the dress dry on a hanger. You can iron the dress if you want it even crisper.
Production
McVERDI is Danish design - designed in Ålsgårde, north of Helsingør. The first samples are designed, sewn and adjusted here before they are sent to Bulgaria for production. We work with a small family-owned factory in Bulgaria, which we have collaborated with for many, many years. The fabric is developed, designed and produced north of Florence in Italy, where we have a partnership with an Italian fabric manufacturer that designs and develops qualities especially for us.
Fit
The dress has a FITTED LOOSE silhouette and is a THYRA CLASSIC. In size medium it has a full length of 115 cm.

McVERDI since 1987
Almost 40 years ago, McVERDI was founded by Lotte Honoré, who is still the owner and runs the company today, as well as designing all of McVERDI’s collections. Together with a dedicated team, she creates the best framework for the McVERDI universe.

All McVERDI clothing is sewn in the EU - at a family-owned factory in Bulgaria, which we have worked with for many years.
Over 90% of our materials are also produced in the EU - primarily in Italy.
Small quantities - delicious fabrics
Our materials are chosen with the utmost care - and many are even designed especially for us. We work primarily with natural materials.
Our collections are produced in small runs and often there are only 3-4 pieces per size.
