A little more about the product ...
The pleated dress is one of the dresses we have had in the collection the longest. It is truly a McVERDI classic and is known and loved by many. And with good reason! The dress has a brilliant fit and is both dressy and suitable for everyday wear. It has side pockets and long sleeves. Simple round neckline. A perfect, timeless classic. In addition, not many of this particular dress were produced, and it can only be purchased in McVERDI's own stores.
The material
The dress is sewn in a quality consisting of 58% linen and 42% cotton. The combination of linen and cotton is unique and gives a fabric with a beautiful texture, while creasing less than regular linen would. A lovely quality for great everyday styles. Wash on the hand-wash program in the machine and let the dress dry on a hanger. You can iron the dress if you want to make it even crisper.
Production
McVERDI is Danish design - designed in Ålsgårde, north of Helsingør. Here the first samples are designed, sewn and adjusted before they are sent to Bulgaria for production. We work with a small family-owned factory in Bulgaria, which we have collaborated with for many, many years. The fabric is developed, designed and produced north of Florence in Italy, where we have a partnership with an Italian fabric manufacturer who designs and develops qualities especially for us.
Fit
The dress is perhaps our most popular classic - THE PLEATED DRESS. It has a well-fitting FITTED silhouette and in size medium has a full length of 110 cm.

McVERDI since 1987
Almost 40 years ago, McVERDI was founded by Lotte Honoré, who is still the owner and runs the company today, as well as designing all of McVERDI’s collections. Together with a dedicated team, she creates the best framework for the McVERDI universe.
Europe production
All McVERDI clothing is sewn in the EU - at a family-owned factory in Bulgaria, which we have worked with for many years.
Over 90% of our materials are also produced in the EU - primarily in Italy.
Small quantities - delicious fabrics
Our materials are chosen with the utmost care - and many are even designed especially for us. We work primarily with natural materials.
Our collections are produced in small runs and often there are only 3-4 pieces per size.
