A truly lovely summer skirt. Brilliant fit and a delightful length. The skirt (a Mathilde skirt) has become incredibly popular. There is something about the length and the wide yoke that creates an absolutely wonderful skirt. Here it is sewn in a piece of checked fabric developed especially for McVERDI. All in all, a truly delightful skirt.
The material
This beautiful and unusual quality was developed and designed specifically for us. It has a lovely texture and is made of 100% cotton. Wash on the hand-wash program in the machine and let the skirt dry on a hanger.
Production
McVERDI is Danish design - designed in Ålsgårde, north of Helsingør. The first samples are designed, sewn and adjusted here before being sent to Bulgaria for production. We work with a small family-owned factory in Bulgaria that we have collaborated with for many, many years. The fabric is developed, designed and produced north of Florence in Italy, where we have a partnership with an Italian fabric manufacturer who designs and develops qualities specifically for us.
Fit
The skirt has a full length of 80 cm in size medium. The skirt is a MATHILDE CLASSIC, known for its well-fitting cut with the wide yoke.

Our Mathilde skirt is one of our classic skirts. A pretty skirt that fits around the waist and hips, but otherwise has width in the skirt. The length of the popular skirt changes from style to style and sometimes the skirt has elastic along the waist. Also, details, pockets, lining/non-lining and so on vary from design to design. The height of the yoke varies from skirt to skirt. However, below you can find the basic measurements of a Mathilde skirt. If you know your size in our great Lotte skirt, then you should use the same size in the Mathilde skirt.

Small quantities - delicious fabrics
Our materials are chosen with the utmost care - and many are even designed especially for us. We work primarily with natural materials.
Our collections are produced in small runs and often there are only 3-4 pieces per size.
