A little more about the product ...

Settle into this summery tunic shirt. The shirt has a relaxed fit but is relatively narrow across the shoulders and upper back, so it doesn’t feel very oversized. It features a front placket with small, pretty buttons. It has a collar, which makes it nice to wear under a vest or a sweater. The sleeve has a bit of gathering and a cuff at the bottom.

The material

The shirt is sewn in a lightweight 100% linen quality. Linen is lovely to wear in summer because it helps regulate the skin’s temperature. In addition, linen has a beautiful and interesting texture that makes the material appealing. Linen is also one of the more sustainable fabric choices, as the cultivation and processing of linen fibers have a minimal environmental footprint and do not require synthetic fertilizers or pesticides. Linen tends to wrinkle and it’s difficult to avoid. Linen can of course be ironed, but we actually recommend letting linen be linen and simply hang the shirt to dry on a hanger. Wash with a neutral, gentle detergent and use a cold hand-wash program.

Production

McVERDI is Danish design — designed in Ålsgårde, north of Helsingør. The first samples are designed, sewn and adjusted here before being sent to Bulgaria for production. We work with a small family-owned factory in Bulgaria, which we have collaborated with for many, many years. The fabric is produced in Turkey.

The shirt has a FITTED LOOSE silhouette and a full length of 80 cm in size medium.

McVERDI since 1987

Almost 40 years ago, McVERDI was founded by Lotte Honoré, who is still the owner and runs the company today, as well as designing all of McVERDI’s collections. Together with a dedicated team, she creates the best framework for the McVERDI universe.

Europe production

All McVERDI clothing is sewn in the EU - at a family-owned factory in Bulgaria, which we have worked with for many years.

Over 90% of our materials are also produced in the EU - primarily in Italy.

Small quantities - delicious fabrics

Our materials are chosen with the utmost care - and many are even designed especially for us. We work primarily with natural materials.

Our collections are produced in small runs and often there are only 3-4 pieces per size.
