A little more about the product ...

The skirted trousers are striped in golden and cream tones and are quite elegant. They have a wide front yoke that gives the trousers a good fit and they feel incredibly comfortable to wear. At the back the trousers close with an invisible zipper and they have side pockets.

The material

The skirted trousers are sewn in a heavy, luxurious cotton-linen quality, consisting of 51% cotton and 49% linen. The combination produces a fabric with a beautiful texture and a heavy drape that wrinkles less than pure linen. Wash gently on the machine's hand-wash program with a neutral gentle detergent and let the trousers dry on a hanger.

Production

McVERDI is Danish design - designed in Ålsgårde, north of Helsingør. The first samples are designed, sewn and adjusted here before being sent to Bulgaria for production. We work with a small family-owned factory in Bulgaria, which we have collaborated with for many, many years. The fabric is developed, designed and produced north of Florence in Italy, where we have a partnership with an Italian fabric manufacturer that designs and develops qualities especially for us.

Fit

The skirted trousers are our CARLA model, characterized by its high front yoke that provides a comfortable fit - and of course the wide legs, which give the feel of a skirt. In size medium the skirted trousers have a full length of 85 cm and a waist width of 84 cm.

McVERDI's CARLA skirt-trousers are a pair of trousers with a WAUW factor! They have a very dressy fit. The culottes have a solid piece at the front, while the back is one piece. The CARLA trousers should fit snugly around the waist, but become wider at the bottom. The trouser legs are wide and swing nicely around you, creating the illusion of a skirt. They will typically be tapered, but this can vary. The specific trouser length will be shown on the specific product.

Our materials are chosen with the utmost care - and many are even designed especially for us. We work primarily with natural materials.

Our collections are produced in small runs and often there are only 3-4 pieces per size.
