The Norwegian cardigan gets its name because the old Norwegian sweaters were the inspiration. We have designed a cardigan that could have been knitted 100 years ago and that would still be wearable in 100 years, unless you’ve worn it out. The cardigan is knitted in a very good wool yarn. The blue cardigan has a rounded folded neckline. A neat knitted border follows the neckline and runs down along the opening and finishes the sweater at the bottom. The sleeves are also edged with the border. Otherwise the entire cardigan is blue with white "lice" pattern. The Norwegian cardigan closes with 6 fine mother-of-pearl buttons. It is perfect for snuggling into during all the dark and cold months. Besides being easy to combine with any wardrobe, it pairs perfectly with a hot cup of tea and slippers.

Material

The cardigan is knitted in 100% lambswool. The buttons are made of mother-of-pearl. We recommend washing the cardigan on a wool program with a gentle detergent for wool and silk.

Fit

The cardigan is knitted in 4 sizes: size 1 = XS/S - size 2 = M/L - size 3 = XL/2XL and size 4 = 3XL. Size 2 measures 100cm at the chest and measures 53 cm in length.

All McVERDI clothing is sewn in the EU - at a family-owned factory in Bulgaria, which we have worked with for many years.

Over 90% of our materials are also produced in the EU - primarily in Italy.

Small quantities - delicious fabrics

Our materials are chosen with the utmost care - and many are even designed especially for us. We work primarily with natural materials.

Our collections are produced in small runs and often there are only 3-4 pieces per size.
