Dark purple velvet trousers with elastic waistband
A bit more about the product ...
The trousers with an elastic waist are one of our core products – and if you like them, they’re a must-have in wide-wale corduroy. Here you get a very good, relaxed winter trouser that you can wear in all kinds of outfits. With a big sweater over, a smart shirt with them. Maybe under a dress. The possibilities are many – but the trousers are straightforward and a good basic to have in your wardrobe.
The material
The trousers are sewn in a chunky wide-wale corduroy quality consisting of 100% cotton. Wide-wale corduroy is soft and cozy to wear and a perfect quality for winter. You should remember, however, that wide-wale corduroy, despite its sturdy look, still needs to be treated gently. Wash on a delicate cycle in the washing machine and let your trousers dry on a hanger. Use a gentle detergent. The lovely corduroy material is produced in Italy, while the trousers are sewn in Bulgaria.
Fit
The trousers are our always lovely JANE trousers. They have elastic at the waist and are therefore flexible. In size medium they have a full length of 90 cm and are thus a cropped winter trouser.
Størrelsesguide
The Jane pant fit is a classic in the McVERDI collection. It has been part of the family for many, many years and continues to be a top favorite.
Below you will find the basic measurements of the Jane fit, but the feel and design may vary from style to style. There may be more width in some designs, the length may vary and the details also change. Due to the elastic, the waist width is flexible.

McVERDI since 1987
Almost 40 years ago, McVERDI was founded by Lotte Honoré, who is still the owner and runs the company today, as well as designing all of McVERDI’s collections. Together with a dedicated team, she creates the best framework for the McVERDI universe.
Europe production
All McVERDI clothing is sewn in the EU - at a family-owned factory in Bulgaria, which we have worked with for many years.
Over 90% of our materials are also produced in the EU - primarily in Italy.
Small quantities - delicious fabrics
Our materials are chosen with the utmost care - and many are even designed especially for us. We work primarily with natural materials.
Our collections are produced in small runs and often there are only 3-4 pieces per size.
