This velvet dress is based on our popular LISE dress, which has a simple and very flattering cut. A very popular McVERDI dress that also works particularly well in wide-wale corduroy, where it becomes a great winter dress! The dress falls to just below the knee and features a flattering round neckline with a small front slit. The dress is meant to fit loosely and is cut with a seam under the bust and finished with a skirt with pleats that moves beautifully in the wide-wale corduroy. The dress has side pockets.
The material
The dress is sewn in a substantial wide-wale corduroy quality consisting of 100% cotton. The dress is lined with 100% viscose lining. Wide-wale corduroy is soft and cozy to wear and a perfect quality for winter. However, remember that wide-wale corduroy, despite its robust look, still needs to be treated gently. Wash on a gentle cycle in the washing machine and let your dress hang to dry. Use a gentle detergent. The lovely corduroy material is produced in Italy, while the dress is sewn in Bulgaria.
Fit
The dress has a FITTED LOOSE silhouette. It is one of our CLASSiCs and is called the Lise dress. In size medium the dress has a full length of 110 cm.

Over 90% of our materials are also produced in the EU - primarily in Italy.

Our materials are chosen with the utmost care - and many are even designed especially for us. We work primarily with natural materials.
Our collections are produced in small runs and often there are only 3-4 pieces per size.
