Style the prettiest summer outfits with this lovely striped skirt from McVERDI! When we had sewn the skirt and tried it on for the first time, we discovered that it actually worked really well as a dress too. Therefore the skirt is delivered with two detachable straps so it can be used as a dress as well. It also has elastic at the waist, making it more flexible. For many (but not all) the skirt can be used both as a skirt and as a dress. But if you are unsure about your size, primarily choose based on whether you want to wear it as a dress or as a skirt.
Material
Nice summer skirt, sewn in a very delicate and lovely quality consisting of 67% cotton, 32% linen and 1% elastane. We really love this wonderful summer quality that is light and soft and has a fine texture. The skirt can be gently machine washed, but we recommend washing on a gentle cycle to best care for the skirt. The material was developed especially for McVERDI by our Italian textile designer, while the skirt was sewn in Bulgaria.
Fit
As a skirt this style has a Mathilde silhouette. It has elastic at the waist, so it is flexible when used as a dress. The full length of the skirt is 85 cm in size medium (as a dress 85 cm + straps).
Our Mathilde skirt is one of our classic skirts. A pretty lovely skirt that sits around the waist and hip, but otherwise has fullness in the skirt. In this version it can be transformed into a dress as well. Below you can find the basic measurements of the skirt. The hip width is fixed, while the waist width is flexible thanks to the elastic.
