Create a chic and charming autumn look with this lovely, classic skirt in checked Harris Tweed®. All Harris Tweed® is defined as: “Handwoven by the islanders in their homes in the Outer Hebrides of Scotland, finished in the Outer Hebrides and woven from pure virgin wool dyed and spun in the Outer Hebrides.” The material therefore comes from sheep that have grazed on the islands off the west coast of Scotland and is a fabric with a long tradition, craftsmanship and professional pride. The colors in the check are simply so beautiful and make the otherwise simple skirt help create a perfect and truly delicate winter look with thick tights (in virtually any color). Optionally pair the skirt with the coat in the same quality to create the look 100%. The skirt is lined with acetate, fastens at the back with a zipper and a small button, and has two neat piped pockets. All in all a really lovely skirt
The material
The skirt is sewn in a wool quality consisting of 100% wool – and not just wool, but the world’s most renowned material: Harris Tweed®. The genuine article from Scotland. The skirt has a lining in 100% acetate. The skirt cannot be washed, but can be dry cleaned if necessary. However, this is likely not necessary, as wool is self-cleaning and can often be refreshed by airing outdoors on the line in damp weather. The fabric, as mentioned, is original Harris Tweed® from Scotland, while the skirt is sewn in Bulgaria.
Fit
The skirt has a LOTTE fit and a full length of 55 cm in size medium.

McVERDI's Lotte skirt is our little classic skirt and often a really good basic skirt to have in the closet. It has a well-fitting fit that has been adapted over many years. It is typically short - and a little shorter in winter versions, where it is used with tights, while in summer it is slightly longer. However, this can vary from style to style. Details, pockets, lining/non-lining and so on also vary from design to design. However, below you can find the basic measurements of a Lotte skirt .

Over 90% of our materials are also produced in the EU - primarily in Italy.
Small quantities - delicious fabrics
Our materials are chosen with the utmost care - and many are even designed especially for us. We work primarily with natural materials.
Our collections are produced in small runs and often there are only 3-4 pieces per size.
