A little more about the coat ...

A true McVERDI favorite! This coat has a very popular silhouette — it fits nicely while being insulated with Thinsulate to keep you warm. The coat is light and cozy with a soft outer fabric. It has a large hood that can be fastened to resemble a collar when not in use. The asymmetric front zipper is a neat detail and can be opened from the bottom if, for example, you need more freedom of movement when cycling. It also looks stylish to use the double zipper to create “silhouette lines.” If you need to head out quickly, the coat has a couple of snap buttons for quick fastening at the top. There is also a snap on the hood so it can be closed snugly around the neck. The coat has side seam pockets and an inner pocket with a button closure. The coat’s princess cut flatters many. The material

The chosen outer material for the coat has a pleasant surface and consists of 46% cotton and 54% polyamide. The coat is mid-insulated with 3M Thinsulate CS70, which is a microfiber material that effectively warms the body with your own body heat without adding bulk or weight. Thinsulate is also used in, for example, ski wear and flight suits. Inside, the coat is lined with 100% cotton and 100% acetate satin in the sleeves. The outer fabric is produced in Italy, while the coat is sewn in Bulgaria.

Fit

The coat is one of our CLASSICS — called the "Bjørg coat". The Bjørg coat is designed to be fitted and has a full length of 100 cm in a size medium.

McVERDI since 1987

Almost 40 years ago, McVERDI was founded by Lotte Honoré, who is still the owner and runs the company today, as well as designing all of McVERDI’s collections. Together with a dedicated team, she creates the best framework for the McVERDI universe.

All McVERDI clothing is sewn in the EU - at a family-owned factory in Bulgaria, which we have worked with for many years.

Over 90% of our materials are also produced in the EU - primarily in Italy.

Small quantities - delicious fabrics

Our materials are chosen with the utmost care - and many are even designed especially for us. We work primarily with natural materials.

Our collections are produced in small runs and often there are only 3-4 pieces per size.
