A McVERDI collection without a pinafore dress is not possible. This year’s version of the pinafore dress is really cool. It’s probably my (Cathrine) favorite dress in the whole collection. I may be using big words, but I truly think it’s so cool. This blue pinafore features pockets of different sizes attached at the front and back, which supports the work-inspired look the pinafore has. The pinafore has a slight A-line silhouette and adjustable straps. Add one of our Liberty shirts under the pinafore, a pair of brown or orange tights, chunky boots and you have a great autumn outfit. You can also create a super-cool all-denim look by adding a pair of McVERDI jeans and the denim jacket from the same range. As always, the styling possibilities are many and the autumn collection can be mixed and matched.
Material
The pinafore is made of 63% hemp and 37% organic cotton. Hemp is a really good material for clothing and was actually used for garments many years ago, before cotton and silk became common. Hemp is here to stay. Hemp wrinkles less than cotton and is extremely durable. So thanks to the material mix—hemp and organic cotton—the pinafore gains several advantages such as less wrinkling, longer durability and the material won’t look worn out. Additionally, for this quality we have used the "garment washed" method: the fabric has been washed several times before production. The garment washed method gives the denim dress a cool look. For this blue denim fabric we used orange/brown colored thread, which really adds a bold expression to the material. Hand wash your pinafore; you can also use a hand-wash program in the washing machine. Wash the dress by itself or with similar colors and avoid light contact surfaces at first. Iron on low heat and definitely let the dress dry on a hanger. The denim pinafore is designed in Denmark, the fabric is from China and the dress is produced at a family-owned factory in Bulgaria, a factory we have worked with for many years.

Over 90% of our materials are also produced in the EU - primarily in Italy.

Our materials are chosen with the utmost care - and many are even designed especially for us. We work primarily with natural materials.
Our collections are produced in small runs and often there are only 3-4 pieces per size.
