yellow linen blouse with buttons
A little more about the product ...
The blouse is one of our CLASSICS and is called the EDITH blouse. It is characterized by its feminine and petite expression. It is narrow at the shoulders and has a yoke at the back and pleats in the back. The linen blouse has small delicate flaps and can also be worn open as a small linen jacket over a dress. The shawl collar is a very flattering detail. All in all a lovely little blouse that is both practical and pretty.
The material
The blouse is sewn in a light 100% linen quality. Linen is delightful to wear in summer as it helps regulate temperature on the skin. In addition, linen has a beautiful and interesting texture that makes the material appealing. Linen is also one of the more sustainable material choices, as the cultivation and processing of linen fibers has minimal environmental impact and does not require artificial fertilizers and pesticides. Linen tends to wrinkle and this is hard to avoid. Linen can of course be ironed, but we actually recommend letting linen be linen and simply letting the blouse dry on a hanger. Wash with a neutral, gentle detergent and on a cold hand-wash program.
Production
McVERDI is Danish design. We have a design studio north of Helsingør in Ålsgårde, side by side with our large shop and webshop. In Ålsgårde we design, sew and adjust the first samples before they are sent to Bulgaria to be produced. For years we have collaborated with a small family-owned factory in southern Bulgaria.
Fit
The linen blouse is an EDITH blouse, one of our classics. The blouse has a Fitted silhouette and should fit closely over the bust and is otherwise fairly straight up and down. The blouse feels petite around the shoulders. In size medium it has a full length of 65 cm.
