More about the dress
This dress has a truly cool aesthetic. The premium fabric (a cotton and linen blend) drapes beautifully and complements the oversized, relaxed fit. There is something about the checks that works perfectly with this silhouette. The dress features a lovely band at the hem where the checks are cut on the bias – a fine detail that is also mirrored along the front button placket. The dress includes side pockets. A wonderful summer dress that can be worn on its own or layered over trousers. Pair it with sandals and a straw bag for a complete summer look, or style it for any season with denim.
Material
The dress is crafted from a high-quality fabric consisting of 67% cotton, 32% linen, and 1% elastane. It is crispy, soft, and very comfortable to wear. Wash your dress gently in the washing machine on a hand-wash cycle. Use a neutral detergent for colored garments. Iron if necessary, otherwise simply let the dress dry on a hanger.
Production
McVERDI is Danish design – designed in Ålsgårde, north of Elsinore. Here, the first samples are designed, sewn, and fitted before being sent to Bulgaria for production. We work with a small family-owned factory in Bulgaria. The fabric for this dress is from Italy and developed specifically for McVERDI.
Fit
The dress features an oversized silhouette and is designed for a loose fit. It is available in size 1 (xs/s), 2 (m/l), 3 (xl/2xl), and 4 (3xl). The total length is 115 cm in a size 2. This is our popular Rita silhouette, here reimagined as a dress.

McVERDI since 1987
Almost 40 years ago, McVERDI was founded by Lotte Honoré, who is still the owner and runs the company today, as well as designing all of McVERDI’s collections. Together with a dedicated team, she creates the best framework for the McVERDI universe.

All McVERDI clothing is sewn in the EU - at a family-owned factory in Bulgaria, which we have worked with for many years.
Over 90% of our materials are also produced in the EU - primarily in Italy.
Small quantities - delicious fabrics
Our materials are chosen with the utmost care - and many are even designed especially for us. We work primarily with natural materials.
Our collections are produced in small runs and often there are only 3-4 pieces per size.
