Gorgeous cardigan from Mansted. This knit is a true “cosy” piece, wonderfully soft and perfect for keeping you warm throughout the autumn. The cardigan features a simple shawl collar and closes at the front with a single button, but it really looks best worn open. It can almost be worn as an alternative to a jacket. With this cardigan, you can easily create a beautiful autumn/winter look.

The material

The cardigan is knitted in 100% yak ox wool. Yak-ox wool is a luxurious natural fiber that comes from the yak ox, which lives in the Himalayan region at over 3,000 meters elevation. The wool is extremely soft – often compared to cashmere – while also being warm, durable and breathable.

Yak wool is obtained by brushing the animals’ undercoat during the shedding season, making it a sustainable and animal-friendly material.

Mansted is a Danish company founded back in 2002. Mansted creates “carefully crafted” knits and focuses on creating flattering, comfortable cuts with beautiful color combinations that last season after season. Below in the chart you can find your correct Mansted size. Please note that Mansted runs a bit smaller than McVERDI. You should choose your size based on your own bust measurement. Knitwear is more flexible and some Mansted models are more oversized than others, so in some cases you may be able to fit into multiple sizes. The chart below will at least give you a good starting point for selecting a size.
