A true summer dress! This dress can be worn open—as a light duster coat over a layered outfit (for example, over a pink or yellow linen dress or paired with trousers)—or closed as a standalone dress. The dress features a soft V-neckline. It closes with small mother-of-pearl buttons at the front and has two large, lovely patch pockets, leaving you free to carry your essentials out into the summer sun.

The Material

The dress is made from 100% cotton. The fabric is from Liberty London in their world-renowned TANA LAWN quality. This cotton fabric has a very special touch; it is smooth and soft to the feel and incredibly durable. It is machine washable at 30 degrees and is practically wrinkle-free. All in all, a wonderful fabric for a beautiful dress. LIBERTY: Liberty London is an iconic British design house known for its stunning and colorful prints that are unique, timeless, and never go out of style. Their patterns have become a symbol of quality and style, favored by fashion enthusiasts for decades.

Production

McVERDI is Danish design – designed in Ålsgårde, north of Elsinore. Here, the first samples are designed, sewn, and fitted before being sent to Bulgaria for production. We work with a small family-owned factory in Bulgaria, a partnership that has lasted for many, many years. The fabric is from Liberty London, which produces their textiles at a mill near Milan, Italy.

Fit

The dress is our KARINA classic. It has a full length of 115 cm in a size medium and features a FITTED LOOSE silhouette. This means it is designed to fit comfortably yet loosely around the bust.

McVERDI since 1987

Almost 40 years ago, McVERDI was founded by Lotte Honoré, who is still the owner and runs the company today, as well as designing all of McVERDI’s collections. Together with a dedicated team, she creates the best framework for the McVERDI universe.

Europe production

All McVERDI clothing is sewn in the EU - at a family-owned factory in Bulgaria, which we have worked with for many years.

Over 90% of our materials are also produced in the EU - primarily in Italy.

Small quantities - delicious fabrics

Our materials are chosen with the utmost care - and many are even designed especially for us. We work primarily with natural materials.

Our collections are produced in small runs and often there are only 3-4 pieces per size.
