A little more about the product ...

I love when skirts inspire styling and invite pairing with different colors. You could say this multicolored cotton skirt does exactly that. It is mélange with blue, red, pink, green, etc., so you can style it in countless ways. At the same time it has a fairly classic design inspired by the 1950s hourglass silhouette. The skirt is a really good basic piece and a great everyday skirt. The heavy fabric feels lovely against the body and you feel well-dressed and comfortable in the skirt. You don't feel too dressed up - and the skirt can easily be worn with both a fine blouse and a large sweater, as well as smart shoes or rubber boots. It of course has side pockets - that’s very important. It's a really good skirt that can be worn throughout the season. Best regards Juliane

The material

A trip to Japan and a small piece of vintage fabric brought home. That was the start of the whole development and design process for this wonderful fabric. We only had a small scrap bought at a flea market in Tokyo, but we loved the texture and the way the dyed yarns produced the uneven multicolored effect. From that scrap Massimo (our Italian textile designer) found printed yarns and developed a range of color combinations that made it hard to choose. For the September20 skirt this red/green/blue color combination was chosen. The material consists of 97% cotton and 3% polyester. The material is from Italy and the skirt itself is sewn in Europe at a family-owned factory in Bulgaria. Wash the skirt by hand or on a hand-wash cycle in the washing machine, then hang the skirt to dry – it will crease less.

Fit

The skirt should sit snug at the waist, so you should base your size solely on your waist measurement.
