A little more about the product ...
This dress has a very special feel. The relatively substantial fabric drapes nicely around the body and gives a well-fitting top. It’s truly one of the best feelings I know to zip up a well-fitting dress and put your hands in the pockets. Because of course this super cute summer dress has pockets! They help give a feeling of freedom—out into the blue with the right dress on. It is a very "easy-to-wear" top. You feel well-dressed and yet ready for everyday life. It can be worn with sneakers, dress shoes, and rubber boots. It can be worn with a shirt underneath, a small bolero, or a large sweater. Just as you wish. It has gathers at the neckline which give the dress a sweet expression and also add a bit of volume if you don’t have much bust. A truly lovely dress that I can only recommend after having had it as a favorite in my own wardrobe for a long time. Best regards Juliane
Material
A trip to Japan and a small piece of vintage fabric brought home. That was what started the whole development and design process of this wonderful fabric. We only had a small scrap bought at a flea market in Tokyo, but we were crazy about the texture and the way the dyed yarns gave it the uneven multicolored effect. Based on that small scrap, Massimo (our Italian textile designer) found printed yarns and developed a range of color combinations that made it hard to choose. For the September20 dress this red/green/blue color combination was chosen. The material consists of 97% cotton and 3% polyester. The material is from Italy and the dress itself is sewn in Europe at a family-owned factory in Bulgaria. Wash the dress by hand or on a hand-wash program in the washing machine, then let the dress dry on a hanger afterward—this reduces wrinkling.
Fit
September|20 is McVERDI’s more petite subbrand. Therefore be aware that the sizes differ significantly from McVERDI sizes in general and that the fitting is different. September|20 is often tailored at the waist, so you should base your choice on both your bust and waist measurements when finding your size.
THIS DRESS IS FITTED: dresses that are close-fitting around the body. Often an hourglass silhouette. The dresses are meant to fit closely and only a couple of centimeters have been added in garment width. The measurements below are therefore very similar to the measurements the dress or skirt actually has.
