A little more about the product ...
The Katja dress is one of our most beloved dresses. It has a timeless cut and is a "proper" dress. It fits close and does not add bulk. It is a style characterized by a very straight up-and-down silhouette. However, the dress contains plenty of McVERDI DNA. It is seamed at the front with a well-fitting "hussar cut", while the back has no waist seam and is shaped by two well-placed darts. We've had the dress in the collection for many years and have seen how it flatters many body types and sizes. The dress has its pockets placed in the front seam, and it has a zipper at center back.
The fabric
The dress is sewn from a quality fabric consisting of 58% linen and 42% cotton. The linen-cotton combination is unique and gives a fabric with a beautiful texture while wrinkling less than regular linen would. A lovely quality for great everyday styles. The dress is lined with 100% viscose lining. Wash on the handwash program in the machine and let the dress dry on a hanger. You can iron the dress if you want to make it even crisper.
Production
McVERDI is Danish design - designed in Ålsgårde, north of Helsingør. The first samples are designed, sewn and fitted here before being sent to Bulgaria for production. We work with a small family-owned factory in Bulgaria that we have collaborated with for many, many years. The fabric is developed, designed and produced north of Florence in Italy, where we collaborate with an Italian fabric manufacturer who designs and develops qualities especially for us.
Fit
The dress has a narrow and FITTED silhouette. It is part of our classic program and is called the KATJA dress. In a size medium it has a full length of 105 cm.

McVERDI since 1987
Almost 40 years ago, McVERDI was founded by Lotte Honoré, who is still the owner and runs the company today, as well as designing all of McVERDI’s collections. Together with a dedicated team, she creates the best framework for the McVERDI universe.
Europe production
All McVERDI clothing is sewn in the EU - at a family-owned factory in Bulgaria, which we have worked with for many years.
Over 90% of our materials are also produced in the EU - primarily in Italy.
Small quantities - delicious fabrics
Our materials are chosen with the utmost care - and many are even designed especially for us. We work primarily with natural materials.
Our collections are produced in small runs and often there are only 3-4 pieces per size.
