Floral 2-in-1 Linen Skirt

A little more about the product ...

First and foremost, I’m a skirt — but you know that thing where you’ve got a long skirt, pull it up over your bust, and realize it’s the cutest dress? That’s exactly what my designers experienced when they sewed me and tried me on. That’s why I come with two detachable straps and have elastic at the waist, making my fit flexible. For many (though probably not all), I can be worn as both a skirt and a dress — and that’s fun! If you’re unsure, choose your size based on the function you plan to use me for the most.

The material

The skirt/strap dress is made in a light and comfortable linen quality with a printed floral pattern. The quality is 100% linen, which is really nice to wear in summer because linen has a temperature-regulating property. Linen wrinkles — it’s something you learn to love, but the floral print and the fabric’s lightness mean the wrinkles don’t really feel like an issue with this lovely skirt. Wash it gently in the machine on a (cold) hand-wash program. Let the skirt dry on a hanger. Danish-designed print by Charlotte Van Hauen (@farvesansen). The fabric is printed and produced in Turkey, while the skirt is sewn in Bulgaria.

Fit

As a skirt, this style has a Mathilde silhouette. It has elastic along the waist, so it’s flexible if it’s used as a dress. The full length of the skirt is 85 cm in size medium (as a dress 85 cm + stopper).

Our Mathilde skirt is one of our classic skirts. A really lovely skirt that fits around the waist and hips, with fullness in the skirt. In this version, it can magically become a dress as well. Below you can find the basic measurements for the skirt. The hip width is fixed, while the waist width is flexible thanks to the elastic.
