Floral ruffle dress in linen
A bit more about the product ...
As mentioned, I’m part of McVERDI Classic and go by the name "Flæsekjolen". You might know me — maybe you’re already one of my fans? If not, let me tell you a little about myself; I’m a pretty fantastic dress with lots of fabric. Most people who try me on are surprised by how lovely it feels to have all that fabric around them. It even often happens that women who don’t usually wear dresses fall for me. There’s something about the way I drape around the body, my length, and the overall feel that appeals to many. I’m very honored by that. I love being that favorite go-to dress hanging in the wardrobe, and I’m well suited for both dressing up and everyday wear. In this version, I’m very summery — and you’ll also get extra flower power, but without it being too much, I think. My print is created by floral and textile artist Charlotte Van Hauen. She works with using flowers in prints and has here created a graphic summer print with direct inspiration from the actual flower. The result is a very lovely and versatile print that suits my linen quality well. I have short sleeves and a very simple, flattering round neckline. I have pockets — and that’s practically one of my most important features! I think I’m a really good candidate for your next summer dress! I’d very much like to get out and feel the sun..
The material
Flæsekjolen is sewn in a light and comfortable linen quality with a printed floral pattern. The quality consists of 100% linen, which is really nice to wear in summer because linen has a temperature-regulating property. Linen wrinkles — that’s something you have to learn to love a bit, but the floral print and the lightness of the fabric actually make the wrinkles not seem like an issue with this lovely dress. Wash it gently in the machine on a (cold) hand-wash program. Let the dress dry on a hanger. Danish-designed print by Charlotte Van Hauen (@farvesansen). The fabric is printed and produced in Turkey, while Flæsekjolen is sewn in Bulgaria.
Fit
The dress has a FITTED LOOSE silhouette. The dress is part of our CLASSIC assortment, where it has the name FLÆSEKJOLEN. In size medium, the dress has a full length of 120 cm.
