Feel ready to embrace autumn in this cool, checked coat sewn in original Harris Tweed®. Harris Tweed is a very special product with a long history and tradition. The sheep have grazed on the Outer Hebrides in Scotland, the wool is spun and woven in the same place and the process has been passed down through generations. The result is world-class wool fabric. This checked coat is sewn in a check from their original, classic collection and it beautifully weaves light blue and dark mustard yellow together with a touch of white and brown. A little more about the beautiful coat

Super cool oversized coat! The silhouette is new in the McVERDI collection and we really think we have created a coat with a strong expression. The classic Harris Tweed quality gets an updated and sharp look. The wool coat has a wide silhouette, which gives a really cool effect. The coat has a zipper at the front and a small collar. It has two piped pockets and an inner pocket with a small button closure.

The material

This McVERDI coat is sewn in 100% wool - the finest of its kind from Harris Tweed itself - possibly the most famous material in the world. The coat is lined with acetate lining in a light olive green color. The coat cannot be washed and must be dry cleaned. However, this will probably not be necessary, as wool is self-cleaning and can easily be freshened up with a trip outside in humid weather. The coat is made in Bulgaria.

Fit

The coat has an OVERSIZE 2 silhouette, so it comes in size 1 (xs/s), 2 (m/l), 3 (xl/2xl) and 4 (3xl). In size medium it has a full length of 100 cm.

McVERDI since 1987

Almost 40 years ago, McVERDI was founded by Lotte Honoré, who is still the owner and runs the company today, as well as designing all of McVERDI’s collections. Together with a dedicated team, she creates the best framework for the McVERDI universe.

All McVERDI clothing is sewn in the EU - at a family-owned factory in Bulgaria, which we have worked with for many years.

Over 90% of our materials are also produced in the EU - primarily in Italy.

Small quantities - delicious fabrics

Our materials are chosen with the utmost care - and many are even designed especially for us. We work primarily with natural materials.

Our collections are produced in small runs and often there are only 3-4 pieces per size.
