Lovely tunic blouse sewn in a sweet Liberty print, a graphic interpretation of primula. Flowers, stems and dots form a delicate pattern in shades of pink, rose and blue. The tunic blouse is quite simple with a flattering V-neck. The blouse actually has sleeves with a lot of width, but they are gathered sweetly with a ribbon and button. This gives the impression of a small "ruffle" at the sleeve hem and makes the summer blouse nice to wear under a jacket or knitwear, where the sleeve can be pulled out. The blouse has side pockets.
Material
The blouse is made from a very delicate 100% cotton from Liberty London. The fabric quality itself has been developed over many years. The result is a very special cotton quality with an almost silk-like surface. Very durable and hard-wearing. Liberty is world-famous for their beautiful prints, which are hand-designed with a particular attention to detail. The House of Liberty has existed since 1875 and their print archive consists of more than 50,000 unique prints collected over the years that together tell the story of the century. There are everything from floral prints to graphic prints, Art Nouveau, figurative and abstract — common to them are the well-chosen color combinations. Liberty is perhaps best known for their small-floral classics, which McVERDI also often works with. Today the materials are printed at Liberty's own fabric mill in northern Italy. The blouse is sewn in Bulgaria.
