We fell head over heels for this beautiful sequined fabric! For the first time ever, there’s a touch of glitter in the McVERDI collection! Here you have a stunning summer skirt with an understated festive touch. A luxurious skirt in linen/cotton fabric that can become a key part of your festive summer look. Create a complete outfit with the matching blouse or tunic, or use the skirt to add a bit of sparkle to your everyday life by pairing it with a summer knit or a simple t-shirt. The skirt features a back zipper and side pockets.
The Material
The skirt is crafted from a blend of 58% linen, 31% cotton, 7% polyamide, and 4% polyacrylic. A thread with multi-colored sequins is woven into the fabric. Machine wash on a gentle hand-wash cycle using a laundry bag. Let the skirt dry on a hanger. If ironing is necessary, use a low heat setting with a pressing cloth in between.
Production
McVERDI is Danish design – designed in Ålsgårde, north of Elsinore. This is where the initial samples are designed, sewn, and fitted before being sent to Bulgaria for production. We work with a small family-owned factory in Bulgaria, a partner we have collaborated with for many, many years. The fabric is produced in Italy, just north of Florence.
Fit
The skirt is based on our "Classic Mathilde" skirt, characterized by a fixed yoke that fits snugly around the hips and a loose, flowing skirt. The skirt has a total length of 80 cm in a size medium.

Our Mathilde skirt is one of our classic skirts. A pretty skirt that fits around the waist and hips, but otherwise has width in the skirt. The length of the popular skirt changes from style to style and sometimes the skirt has elastic along the waist. Also, details, pockets, lining/non-lining and so on vary from design to design. The height of the yoke varies from skirt to skirt. However, below you can find the basic measurements of a Mathilde skirt. If you know your size in our great Lotte skirt, then you should use the same size in the Mathilde skirt.

Our materials are chosen with the utmost care - and many are even designed especially for us. We work primarily with natural materials.
Our collections are produced in small runs and often there are only 3-4 pieces per size.
