We fell head over heels for this beautiful sequined fabric! For the first time ever, a touch of glitter has entered the McVERDI collection—and in the most elegant way. This is a sweet and feminine version of our Edith blouse, featuring a mandarin collar and small mother-of-pearl buttons. It also boasts a lovely, slightly puffed sleeve that adds an extra touch of refinement. Style it with white trousers or a small skirt to add a hint of festive sparkle to your look. Or go "all in" and pair it with the matching skirt for a truly stunning McVERDI party look.

Material

The blouse is crafted from a blend of 58% linen, 31% cotton, 7% polyamide, and 4% polyacrylic. A thread with multi-colored sequins is woven directly into the fabric. Machine wash on a gentle hand-wash cycle using a laundry bag. Dry the blouse on a hanger. If ironing is necessary, use a low heat setting with a pressing cloth in between.

Production

McVERDI is Danish design – designed in Ålsgårde, north of Elsinore. Here, the first samples are designed, sewn, and fitted before being sent to Bulgaria for production. We work with a small, family-owned factory in Bulgaria with whom we have collaborated for many, many years. The fabric is produced in Italy, just north of Florence.

Fit

This shirt blouse is based on our elegant EDITH CLASSIC. It features a light A-line silhouette with gathers at the back but has a relatively petite fit around the shoulders. The blouse has a total length of 65 cm in a size medium.

McVERDI since 1987

Almost 40 years ago, McVERDI was founded by Lotte Honoré, who is still the owner and runs the company today, as well as designing all of McVERDI’s collections. Together with a dedicated team, she creates the best framework for the McVERDI universe.

Europe production

All McVERDI clothing is sewn in the EU - at a family-owned factory in Bulgaria, which we have worked with for many years.

Over 90% of our materials are also produced in the EU - primarily in Italy.

Small quantities - delicious fabrics

Our materials are chosen with the utmost care - and many are even designed especially for us. We work primarily with natural materials.

Our collections are produced in small runs and often there are only 3-4 pieces per size.
