The shirt blouse is a really versatile style that you can wear buttoned over a pretty summer skirt or sundress. It also looks sweet worn open over a dress or top, as an alternative to a cozy cardigan. Finally, this shirt blouse is also lovely worn under a pinafore dress. The possibilities are many with this shirt blouse, and we simply love that. It is sewn in a beautiful crispy quality that helps give the blouse an exclusive look. The puffed sleeves and waist tie make the shirt blouse extra feminine.

The material

The shirt blouse is made from a very delicate 100% cotton from Liberty London. The quality itself has been developed over many years. The result is a very special cotton quality with an almost silk-like surface. Very durable and hard-wearing. Liberty is world-renowned for their beautiful prints, which are designed by hand with a very particular attention to detail. The House of Liberty has existed since 1875 and their print archive consists of more than 50,000 unique prints that have been created over the years and together tell a story about the century. There are everything from floral prints to graphic prints, Art Nouveau, figurative and abstract – what unites them are the well-chosen color combinations. Liberty is probably best known for their small-floral classics, which McVERDI also often works with. Today the materials are printed at Liberty's own fabric mill in northern Italy. The dress is sewn in Bulgaria.
